Okage was a defining game for me and the obvious reference should be obvious. Otherwise, tar man is just a cool zombie and black puddings are fantastic terrifying monsters for inexperienced adventurers to have to face down in the corridors of a dark dungeon https://t.co/WkuUWYoD4S

Later on both shows change the conflict from fighting against the monsters, to fighting against the other humans.

Never posted it because Io at that point was a private OC, but here's Io's first design!

the world they were from was basically "magical-girl-esque robots fighting giant monsters," but it got scrapped bc it got too personal + I wasn't attached to the premise

Well the Fantasy world I've been conceptualizing lacks the traditional fantasy creatures in favor of ghosts and what I call Animate, plants and minerals corrupted by leaked magic turned into monsters.
(Golems I guess, & sometimes they have the looks of a classic fantasy creature)

I'm starting a new project! I want to make a coloring book of monsters! I'm hoping to do roughly 12-16 and then they will be made free to download on either Kofi or Gumroad. Here are the first two pages and colored examples!

MisfitZ’s Favorites (21)

Target : The Arch Demon of the Abyss, Gaismagorm

As a GRank this monster has to compete with some of the most Loved and Memorable monsters in the franchise
(Ahtal, Gog, Shara, Dire, Uka ect)

And Gaisma more then Lives up to Standard

At least for me
