This guy's Renaud (Dragon), he is the eldest of the group
He once led many Mythos fleeing from those who tried to purge their existence, eventually losing an arm and a wing
He's very handy with machines and built his own prosthetics

🥈Mythos: Fantastic Four
What this loses in points for not going with the rocket ship theft, it makes up for in unbelievably beautiful art by Paolo Rivera. Fun, heartfelt, and sweet with a gorgeous "reasoning behind the powers" page. My top pick for a more modern origin story.

🐙The Old Ones were, the Old Ones are, & the Old Ones shall be. Not in the spaces we know, but between them, They walk serene & primal, undimensioned and to us unseen.🎨danny_ingrassia_art🐙#Lovecraftian

batman: year one vs. tom king’s updates to the mythos: “since the walk, that night …. since all sense left my life.” / “i’m there again. mother’s tangled. father’s yelling. i’m ten & on my damn knees …. i’m scared. and i’ll do anything to get out of the fright.”

the mythos design for Mega Man Zero will forever be one the fucking rawest character designs ever made. Even if it was never used in-game

🦑Of such great powers there may be a survival, one of a hugely remote period when consciousness was revealed in forms long withdrawn before the tide of advancing humanity; forms of which legend alone has caught a flying memory & called them gods🎨Ola Larsson🦑#Cthulhu

A small concept art for a future project: Spider-Man + Persona! Here's Peter Parker!

Can't wait to make more characters from the Spider-Man mythos soon! And remember: With great power comes great responsibility!

🦑In Their city of R’lyeh, preserved by the spells of mighty Cthulhu, the Great Old Ones lie awake in the dark. They knew all that was occurring in the universe. Even now They talked in Their tombs🎨Pelgrane Press🦑#Lovecraftian

I already wanted it, then AOD month happened and I listened to that Lovecraft Investigations podcast, then watched The Empty Man, and now there’s literally no other TR premise I want more.

The Mythos would fit ✨perfectly✨ within Lara’s world.

Here's the first page of a personal project. Inspired in the spirit of and a few others in the furry genre. Had to read the egyptian book of the dead and mythos history to get a few ideas. No official website yet, but I'll build one eventually.
