Since its been some time due to travel and then Covid, I'll just re-share the Terantic block-in now that I can come at it with fresh eyes and paint. Will push it a bit further and then wash color and refine further in the next day or two.
Feeling pretty good about this ink wash approach. Just a fountain pen, water brush and pencil. The ink is semi-water resistant so it can hold its lines while still being able to blend. Darker tones are achieved by directly pulling ink from the fountain pen into the water brush.
