We love Taliyah’s “rock-surfing” feel, and wanted to bring more of the “sand-as-water” idea to life. We envisioned young weaver nomads leaping from rocks studded with glass-like minerals into the flowing sands below. Art: Quy Ho

Some new characters I designed between commissions.

Right is Kaliyah Zhao: A bubbly, fun loving bimbo with a fascination with the occult. She sold her soul for a demon boyfriend

Left is Kazranar, Said demon boyfriend. A snarky incubus with an eternal case of the mondays.

Look at this image she made. SHE PUT AN (X) OVER TALIYAH'S FACE (meaning she wants her to d word) SO she is transphobic. and yes taliyah is trans they even said.

Aaliyah has been important to me for a long time. She’s a Nephilim with an “unbreakable” body. Im a sucker for ‘enemy reluctantly joins hero’ trope and she personified that- Took down villains stronger than her and gained their respect through perseverance.
