I did my own redesigns of because I think they could’ve put more thought into his design with contrasting colors to balance out the yellow and not have his eyes blend in with the yellow patches around em. I also cut out the green cause it looked out of of place. ^^

Bonus: giant squid mermaid without any effects. You can see that she required both darker and more contrasting shading than I usually use, as well as two arms that were never fully drawn because they were meant to fade into the gloom anyway.
