I think I may make her a tad rounder, not exaggerated but a bit softer, like have her head be more circular and such

Nah, Fuji's art reminds me more of manga targeted towards older demographic like seinen or (less likely) josei, but it still feels distinctly drawn by a man. It's just he never draws women in exaggerated manner. Meanwhile, *actual* female shounen artist tend to have neat lines 👇🏼

I think my only problem is that she really doesn’t look like an exaggerated version of peach at all, I think a a Wapeach would look like a super narcissistic Queen step mother and Wadaisy would probably look super buff and aggressive

A deceptively simple style. Cartoony, exaggerated, but not outside the realm of believable. Everything has a “constructed” form to it. He knows the form of the shapes he’s drawing like someone sculpting clay.
