Spent the weekend re-reading Darwyn Cooke's adaptations of Westlake/Stark's Parker novels. I can't think of many cartoonists who regularly produced such flawless work. From design to layout to colour, everything he did perfectly slotted together. An all-time great, gone too soon.

These weren't the only Ishinomori-related projects Konno worked on, though! He dabbled in Rider, too!
Specifically, Konno was the illustrator for the designs and even some color pages in the 2003 "Kamen Rider EVE: Masked Rider Gaia" novels. Would love those to get TLd someday.
