this is from 2006 and it looks jarring as hell

whats even funnier is that my Fav anime Zero no tsukaima is also from 2006

and it looks MILES better than this adaptation

The Invisibles Vol. 3, Oh hey, this was another issue I totally got—I think. And I really really liked it. The different art teams don’t make the book feel disjointed, mostly because they’re all so good, and the pacing is fantastic.

I'm pretty sure this volume already goes past the anime, which might explain why the anime's pacing gets so ponderous in later episodes.
