Also please know that Jump has published an incredibly diverse range of comics over the years. There are comics in there that stylistically would be considered "indie" or "underground" style cartoons in America. It's OK to push things in "kids" comics in Japan (& most of Asia)

I can’t stop making these quick paintings/photo studies of my Friend. The perspective on this one was difficult, but I managed. The rocks were also complicated. Also, ignore the complete lack of continuity with the suns/stars/moons. It’s stylistic, or something.

Mitsuru Aoyama followed it up with another of his classic solo key animation showings on episode Snappy movement and loose, extremely expressive art - even though it's easy to dread him nowadays, in the right context (stylistic, amount of linework) he was pretty damn good
