I think the most striking thing about CE Overdose is how....ultimately real it feels. Every character (except one or two) has issues that ultimately feel very grounded and perhaps even atypical from what you'd get in other JRPG parties

@Mikolaj_JK So it's a bit hard to explain in a tweet but basically I make one layer with a single color for the shadows, then duplicate that and paint over it with a couple tones and then layer them on top of each other. These layers are set to multiply mode typically.
Firefly! For my next Joevember post, this was just a convention commission. I typically enjoy drawing a hint of potential story into these character shots when I can!

@itsalola07 Hell yeah! My recommend is 'Bomb' shortest word so you can make the text in the shape of the typical round bomb but also think about the BF being the 'biggest' character encompassing 'Cherry' or even the shape of a cherry.

The reason the Tenchi gang are dressed up in typical JRPG-style clothing, is because on Gokuraku 2 is a game called:
"Tenchi Quest! The Gokuraku World" A Zelda-style Tenchi game!

Is an alphabet, but works a bit different that the typical western alphabets we have.
It has some rules regarding the use of the letter H, and also specific ways to write characters that are not part of the basic ones (ñ,ä,ț,ú,etc...)
