toucan sam’s new design makes me so uncomfortable?

there’s so many flaws i could point out with it— i think the silhouette is fine but the colors are atrocious— along with the muddy blur on his beak

I ❤️ the Clayface design from Batman: The Animated Series. It’s iconic. A big tragic muddy monstery guy who can change shape, but struggles to control it and falls apart? So awesome.

Day 128
"Just a Fairy Tale"
December 2018, I painted a Cinderella exactly as I had her in my head. I mixed traditional Disney with a modern film version & made it my own. 5 years before, I struggled to mix any colour that didn't end up muddy brown! Practice, patience, tenacity!

I needed cheering up and Facebook actually delivered. It showed me the first pic in my memories (usually the first thing you see) and oof.

In my defense my laptop's resolution made things look brighter--more vibrant, but in reality it was muddy and dark.

A flyaway lace dress the colour of Canterbury Bells for a long summer night of broken stars & jewelled caddis houses in hidden silvery brooks & bright eyed frogs singing the summer in from their damp, muddy stones praying, o praying so hard, for a change in their fortunes.

Third up, and probably my most obscure request: Muddy Mole -- from forgotten (and underrated) Nintendo Game Boy classic, Mole Mania

Sorry (really sorry) Cow has muddy hooves & she’s mad so she kicks mud in ducks face. This starts a chain reaction of animals doing mean things to each other. Then Pig comes along and makes everyone feel better. Loved this.

I got teal! 👗👗 Miku, Vanellope, (dragon) Haku and... Nidorina hahaha

Reply and i'll give you a color and you pick your four favorite characters with that color!!

This was kinda hard cause the line between teal and blue/green can get pretty muddy...

Another update on the Earth Monster sculpt. Combined some of the stone together and sharpened some edges, to make it look less muddy and round. Going to spend most of today on the bakes and textures.
