I think is pretty common to start with the head, draw the body and then shrink the head 😅

To help with that though, gotta mentally stablish the characters' proportions beforehand. If you have a proper idea of how many heads tall their body is, you can correct as necessary.

Both her and her sister went through a redesign. Still have to do a proper ref for Tarah. On top of that Melina went from straight Blond hair with anime bangs to looser curls that look closer to her sister's. Also their tails were changed up.

I do think Riot's official version is better but I'm still very happy with what we came up with :)
