some of those influences I can easily pick up on are the Ice King being made from the Snow Miser (the Rankin Bass ideal of a villain who isn't all that bad, they're just antisocial and awkward), Tree Trunks from Winnie The Pooh, or the golem from Thank You and 1982's The Snowman
