Especially with current cel shading being better than it was when Devastation came out, since now we got stuff like Dragon Ball FighterZ, Guilty Gear, and Kill La Kill which more accurately replicate that tasty cel shading in Animation we love. That’d be a cool lookin’ game

results on the same prompt are wildly different. MJ just can't do cel style animation, not with any combination of prompts I've found at least, but what it does make is more artistic, moodier, and less "obvious"

Even the "ugly duckling" generations out of that set are very recognizable as cel animation, with some modern digital flourish. It wouldn't tak emuch work to turn these into passable faux-screencaps.

Watched Royal Space Force with my friends today. Really good and pretty movie. Gainax or I guess Trigger now really cant compare to this when it comes to animation. Those Gainax cel animated anime are really a league of their own.
