Day 17: "Evil Doppelganger". Technically not a doppelganger, rather a hero-monster-body-swap, but this was the first thing I thought of! This is from "Runaway Brain", a 1995 Mickey Mouse short that was controversial for its darker/scarier tone.

day 12: shadow
Shadowcat (Exopanthera tenebris). Its orange tendrils are for sensory purposes and can glow to hypnotize prey. It’s tail can be used to capture prey and it is able to spit a liquid that reacts with air to make clouds of black smoke.
