As can often happen, I think the inks lost some of the sketch's energy -- it was my first work for Matt (and DH) in a while and I might've got in my head a little. I should've kept the sword's sweep line, too... maybe a trail of that great blue alien blood to suggest the motion.

I don't really care for Katawa Shoujo too much, though Rin had a fantastic route.
I really like how alienating Rin's personality was.
It's a really challenging character, one who cannot properly convey their emotion.
Her appeal was small victories. It felt like a real person.
