But these plotpoints are so spaced out, the central narrative takes a backseat. A HUGE info dump feels a "retcon-ny" and couldve been divied out between episodes.

I have this tendency with stories to not go with the Main Relationship of a story. Sometimes one will click with me but normally in a story where a guy and girl meet and end up in a relationship. I cant help but feel like the two characters worked better with someone else.
