KUNSTENAAR OP REIS zag in het Lauwersmeer massa's vogels en legde in de Ezumakeeg deze onvolwassen bruine kiekendief vast. Binnenkort op weg naar het zuiden, nu nog etend van een koet.

in 1875, Captain Matthew Webb became the first known person to swim the English Channel.

Webb swam from Admiralty Pier at Dover to Calais.

It took him 21 hours and 40 minutes.

Although the Channel is 21 miles at its narrowest, Webb’s zig-zag course was nearly 40 miles.

Fast-forward about 50 episodes and a year later on we have something much closer to what he would eventually settle on. Effects show more of a commitment to the zig-zag shape, meanwhile the timing especially on the last two cuts is very familiar.

Your OC and what they're named after:

I wanted a punny name akin to a 90's platformer duo (like Banjo-Kazooie or Rachet and Clank). Landed on "zig-zag", then picked names to match my dumb joke!

My bois are named after a squiggle, and this pleases me :3 https://t.co/mjq4MMBKyY
