The story writer and the artist for this manhwa did a fantastic job with portraying the relationship she had with her stepmother, this hurt so much more knowing the kindness and genuineness she showed the MC as a kid cuz you can feel the pain and betrayal
but that ultimately that was probably better for both of them because that meant they weren't just sating their obsessions with each other and destroying their own relationship. how even if they missed that temporary comfort it means they can have a healthy genuine connection now

It's a neurological disorder, but not inherently a sign of sickness, had it forever. My relationship with visual snow is a bit weird personally, but look into "visual snow" if you're curious about it! I didn't know for a long time...
