@Funkine 2000s CD-ROMs like Putt-putt, freddi fish, and jumpstart games are just a few games that I draw my inspiration from. The way they add so many little details to designs and backgrounds, while still using pixelart and limited technology inspires me to draw bigger scenes!

I posted this once but with the "still-frame" and now watching this while moving, and still keeping all those details in the flames, is even cooler. Again, Gen'ichirou Abe is awesome for animating this sequence and many other incredible scenes.

I could go on and on about the risktaker essence and how well it fits Emily's backstory, the cages of body parts, the coins showing heart in exchange for money.. her being quite LITERALLY THE HEART OF THE CASINO BECAUSE OF THE VEINS IN MULTIPLE SCENES....
