It's not good, just being upfront. Between inconsistent joke quality, unappealing side characters, and also the plots just not being entertaining nor engaging, it's easy to see why most people don't talk about the earlier comics.

That's an interesting take

A lot of what makes Jenny appealing, to me, is how her design can be blocked into simple shapes, both rigid an flexible. It feels like the character designers really knew how to make her both easy to animate and nice to look at

Has a dark form whose boss battle is one of the best in the series.
