About backgrounds, sometimes you shouldn't be doing super details, as it doesn't look great and takes you a lot of time. I think it is good to try it to find an answer for yourself (the answer may not be the same for everyone, as there is not a correct answer in art, at all).

Definitely this one because I spent about 4 days on it and practiced alot of new things like backgrounds, water, and poses. I think it got like...14 likes? Not bad for oc content I suppose, but with how much work I put into it, it would've been nice to get more feedback on it ^^;
