Is the global south fairing well during the pandemic?
Infectious disease modellers have known for decades that spread of flu viruses is predicted by patterns of air travel.
Spread of Coronavirus has followed suit.

Thank you so much for creating art and making videos!
Loved coming home to a new video, and vividly remember being so happy you posted one time when I had the flu a few years ago💖💞

@KarenKilgariff Just listened to “Live at the Chevalier Theater in Medford, MA”. Excellent work on telling the story of The Great Boston Fire of 1872. I lost it when you elaborated on the “Horse Flu” and had to draw what popped into my head. I know you know that soap opera.

We’re still learning more about what this virus does. Studies report it to attack not just the lungs, but also the brain, the heart, and now the skin.
Needless to say, thinking of something that may cause strokes, purple lesions, heart attacks as a “bad flu” is a category error.
"Cotton candy skies
Why can't you be mine
Always on my mind, I'm running out of time
Skies aren't always blue, when I think of you
Try'na make it through, I caught you like the flu"
(Little vent doodle I did a while back
Lyrics are from a song called Letters to Ana btw)
I have the flu 😷

Crap, I think I got some sort of flu strain. I just hope I don't pull a repeat of the karate chopping incident.

102 years ago, another pandemic raged across the globe. My latest comic is all about what we can learn from the 1918 "Spanish Flu" (written by @sarahmirk + @elerimai), today on the @thenib: https://t.co/TKtGKcURSl
