Oh man. I went looking for a happy ending and watched 'In This Corner of the World.' It did have a happy ending and I LOVED it, but it's like Grave of the Fireflies so of course I couldn't stop crying. Beautiful animation, very poignant slice-of-life. Female MC is an artist.
