The Usagi character intro is a much better start to the episode than the "this episode preview" (weird! never seen that before) or even the iconic OP (great visuals but I think I heard the song too much it's rote for me already lol)

The new visuals alone aren't bad, they're pretty good actually. It's just that IMO it's simply an inferior version.

@rabidwooloo imo it's less about dynamism and more about it looking like the in-game party sprites which aren't flattering - this doesn't happen with other other pseudos. kommo-o is a good example, whose overall form benefits from the slight angle change. i need to be stuffed in a locker NOW!

I don't think most of the CGI in Quantumania is actually that bad, it's actually pretty good IMO
The issue is that it's coming after several phase 4 projects which ALSO had a ton of colorful CGI vistas, making people completely numb to these visuals regardless of quality
