I appreciate Norman Rockwell's skills, but I think he's kinda overrated compared to other illustrators in that vain/period. Case and point: JC Leyendecker, whose sketches alone are simply spectacular
Happy birthday @inuhodo !!! As requested, a recreation of J.C. Leyendecker's 'June Scholar' painting, but with Sherlock as the subject! Had a lot of fun trying to make this watercolor-y. Not sure if it worked, but it was fun. Also drawing the chemistry stuff. Orgo throwbacks.. 😅
