Amelia is next. Her design was based on a dream I had, and I gradually refined it over time. She was Sparrow's love interest in some older projects, but I've struggled to do things with her recently. I think her design needs a tweak or two.

idk if it made any noticeable changes to anyone else's eyes but i tried just coloring on top of the sketch and then i put everything on one layer to refine and i think a lot of the original energy was kept! fun stuff https://t.co/MtuA3ShSQP

a little more refinement, very slowly but surely! I must clarify that the initial idea always had hands but they were on their respective sides--the crossing was inadvertent(?)... but I feel it's more evocative? I stopped with one hand repainted as it doesn't seem right...
