the kirby café artstyle is usually sort of minimalist but this art from the 2016 run is neat because it feels way closer to the kind of art you see in the actual games. i wonder if this was like, a proof of concept?
Cell shading vs soft shading.
Cell shading is usually my go to when I'm doing something in my semi realistic style but I think I prefer soft shading with these more stylized illustrations.
