no 3D today but i can't not just drop this in (i forgot most of the ten minutes i spent UV mapping something in the summer 2018)
Thanks to @majorarlene, I was able to figure out how to turn complex linedef monstrosities into a single texture that requires just 4 lines instead of 3,200. This will be necessary for remaking Barrels O' Fun. #Doom #Doom2 #LevelDesign #Mapping #RetroGaming
Happily, the rig for the cat has also been modified to fit the bear boy. Still have some stuff to fix, like the UV mapping as you can see around his nose the texture gets pixely.
Might make him a polar bear. But he looks good as a brown bear boy. Who knows.

@SivHDtweets i thought the glossy detail they made with the characters was just a texture, but instead, they used a 3D model for the gloss. they probably did it this way for numerous reasons. like to ignore the UV mapping, avoid texture pixelation, and because it's much more simple to do

So I did the head of clone Yoshi, literally had to learn UV mapping just to get the green and white parts of the head on properly, head shape a lil off though, the red scales are also there but not fully visible due to the angle of the camera, so it wasn't as simple as toy tails
