Monster AU!
SQH is a Qilin, a celestial creature with the gift of prophecy. His body is covered with golden scales which made him a target to humans, who believe that they are made of gold. He uses his gift to write his stories, which may or may not be quite indecent.

It's hard to really know how random it is to generate without testing it. So I made the same upscale 4 times. It's the same image but each time the AI upscales it slightly differently

I was attempting to make the type as legible as possible with mixed results

Kari Bienert is a superior Color Field artist from Australia. Her "Diamonds", oil on canvas, conveys her unlimited potential in applying chromatic and tonal scales and geometric forms. She provides an exciting kinetic visual experience for viewers. https://t.co/7D02bD7ndf

The copperfish is a diminutive wavekin that's popular with Ul'dah nobles. The freshwater fish has orange colored scales and it's believed that nobles want even their fish to be the color of their coin.

Their purple/blue/teal scales can change to show their strong emotions though they do not have as much control as a full Rainwing would. They fell in love with a goofy Mudwing/Skywing named Auburn and currently live in the rainforest together.

my grimwalker oc, who is a "failed" attempt because he had... too much selkidomus scales in him and just turned into a merman, leaves Philip inmediately and lives the rest of his days as a cryptid raiding random boats. named him Lycorias.

Monty rockin' out on his fourth dimensional guitar! 🎸👨‍🎤 I like to think Monty can only play scales, but by god, is he gonna make it sound amazing!

Thanks again for the awesome art, man! I love it! 🕺🏻

A Cave is an interesting travelling place for sure, but the rescue from before seemingly harmed Konari, as he is sitting on Tsuras Leg, showing his wing-

It was recently discovered that Diablos's bone marrow has superb binding properties, and these unique substances make Diablos's shell and scales incredibly dense and heavy. Constant exposure to sand makes Diablos's carapace stronger and harder.

I don’t have any of the custom brush or liquify tools to follow the tutorial directly but the shading tips do really help a lot!
However, near the edges some scales would be in front of scales behind it with a rounder shape… right?
(Very bad examples from a while ago)

I also have this tutorial on how you can try making detailed scales! I don't make tutorials often so it might be confusing idk :,D I want to experiment with this technique more though & thought others might like to try it out 🐍🐊

Guess who decided to travel with non-winged individuals in an area that is like "better you have wings", exactly, Konari!
The green aerial kukuri to the rescue!

Absolutely. I love sclaed elf-ears or more dragonesque ears, imagine what Leviathan and such creatures are commonly depicted with. I've got this super old OC I created with them and love this.
Also, yes, different colors or glowing elements would be superb. Hair/Scales matching
