Atom (Astro) and his lil'sis Uran (Zoran), from Astro Boy. I based the designs from the 1980 TV series, which I watched this September. The show was incredibly well-made even for today's standard. The main characters are full of life. So much to learn from the old masters.

This one's from September. Though it was a commission, it was a highly personal piece for the client, and I had a lot of creative freedom. Plus, it was a large project and incorporated a lot more materials than usual for me (watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, gel pen, gouache)
