I'm not so great with line-art so gave myself some restraints to practice with, such as using curved lines sparingly or like add more dynamic shadow/light shapes. :d Watcha guys think?

This is a small sample of some interesting and beautiful trilobite shapes. Their segmented body plan (with left, central, and right lobes) was easily modified through adaptation.

My settings consist of hard shapes. Bricks, chain-link fences, panels, tiles, etc. They're useful for the sake of a visual contrast between the open space of the subject, and in the case of flats-only coloring, they serve as a way to cleanly separate foreground from background.

Agreed! I’ve been wrenching myself out of same-face syndrome over a period of years, and one of my first steps toward that was differentiating the features of POC characters. It’s not hard once you become accustomed to constructing faces with different shapes.

This was...an experience!! Yes!!! Bow is mine, Tammy belongs to the amazing ❤️❤️ The only assumption I can make from them is god they must have 80 different pair of glasses that’s ALL have different frame shapes. The colors could be better but we did our best

I don't particularly like how I draw humans so I wanted to do some tests, and chose miku cause she's fairly simple shapes. Did overly simplistic like my avatar, and oval head somewhat simple. Might do another one at a future date but IDK. Also wanted to try not just dot eyes.
