Attaching those same colors to a live-action scene make it look unnatural and uncanny because those colors do not naturally exist like that in the real world. Sure, maybe making her a little more saturated would look nicer but otherwise its never going to look the same as the og

Really enjoying watching Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on Netflix. The comparisons between this and the story I am building behind the collection is scarily uncanny though. Just remember what came first! 😆

I struggle to enjoy realistic styles sometimes because I find they have this uncanny valley type thing going on, but the way is able to capture someone’s likeness in a realistic yet artistic way is so beautiful. I’m also always a sucker for dynamic lighting done well :)

my weird mimic man Johannes :') he's uncanny valley in appearance and my favorite traits for him are that he's got no fingernails and his "human teeth" are all incisors.

I mean, you cropped it. The full page/context is even worse.

It’s from UNCANNY X-MEN in 2018. Nathan Grey gets god-like powers and, “cleansed the world of its fake houses of worship and their false prophets.”

Guess which religious site ISN’T shown being destroyed though?

OC redesign. After some wonderful feed back, thanks to the SOUL creator of soul train , I gave my girl Lauren a redesign that would more fit her diesel background. Hope you’ll like it.

Out of curiosity (and vanity) I fine-tuned on 4 photos of myself and it's hilarious😆. The images are uncanny but with the "Tom"ishness turned up. Big nose bigger, big chin bigger etc.
Can imagine training from a metahuman to use as a consistent character.

"BODY DOUBLE is a smirking, porn-pop uncanny valley of artifice-lubed Hitchcockian anti-reality. A film heat-warped by sexual obsession into an unhinged flood of Brian De Palma's megatonic, metafilmic id."

I still think the manga “I Am a Hero” has one of the best takes on the classic zombie with its ZQNs. They capture that uncanny horror by retaining phrases and mannerisms from their former lives. They blur that line between still being reminiscent of of people and no longer so.
