Also, some garden gnomes for a comic I'm planning with Phantasm. They're fairly small usually, move like pillow cases full of dirt, and can make various sounds to talk with non-gnomes. For inter-gnome communication, they use a combination of dance, leaf wiggling, and scent.

Kobolds in D&D are scaly dragon puppies.
In mythology they are furry tiny humanoids. They live on farms & can benefit or hurt it, they also work in the mines. Akin to Goblins, Hobs, Brownies, Leprechauns, Tomte, Gnomes, Boggarts, & all other wee folk. YMMV

Playing in a oneshot tonight-- meet my Hobgoblin, Stagg! He was raised by his gnome mom (gnomes are based off of insects in this setting, hence the four arms) who used (very) deviled eggs in the soup that made him and she loves her big, beefy baby boy.
