Backgrounds were never my strong point so I put effort into focusing on color/texture as that’s great for expressing tones (like in 臥虎藏龍). Having a cultural base also works wonders for storytelling. Anything to cover up the obvious hardliners and lack of perspective from me😅

I think it came from lack of inspiration... I suggest look at and inspect other's artwork (dont forget to give them impression ofcourse~) or maybe going out from your comfort zone.. like start drawing things you never drew before.. It might help you get out from the "artblocks"
