I don't really do lineart so I just color over my sketch. On a separate layer I start with my dark color as an “outline”. {also I do my not-so-dark colors on the same layer as the skin flat color} then as I go with shading...

I always start off with a pencil sketch & use different colors for face/body, hair, and clothes! It helps me a lot cause I tend to mix up lines :,)

Then I do lineart (my method is to get the eye shape w the base color before outlining it) then onto coloring!
