There has been a lot of speculation that the reaver bundle was an Old Version of the new Elderflame Bundle and might actually never come back.

Archibald Douglas fought at Poitiers for King John II. Archibald was captured by the English but a fellow captive Scot (Ramsay) said he was a Cook's boy in his Master armour & Archie was set free. Archibald returned to Scotland building Threave Castle & earned the name 'The Grim'
