In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Mareep was originally pink. He was later changed to yellow for G&S's release version, but pink was repurposed as his Shiny color.

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Ledyba and Ledian weren't linked by evolution data. It seems they were originally rivals -- but later, were revised into relatives.

I gave it a similar look to paras, with the strange bumps & baby blue eyes. It’s a different position then it’s sprite, with more hook to its claws. I did everything to make its nose look like a nose and not a mouth-it’s hard to unsee but it’s a nose! Enjoy & feel free to share
Beta Ledian:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Ledian was completely different, and his name was Mitsuboshi, meaning "Three Star Ladybug." But he was later redesigned and renamed.

Here's a dangan sprite, it's the first time I draw a fullbody in this style so I hope it's kinda cool lol
I love it anyway :')
Beta Houndoom:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Houndoom was classified as pure Fire-type, and bore some subtle differences to his final design -- most notably, his cat-like eyes.

Idle animation coming soon!
Much like the original Pokemon Red/Blue pikachu sprite, Sephiroth's original gear menu pic is less cute or beautiful than later iterations but to some it feels more true to character. #sephiroth
Ive posted his stats page on my insta! But however, Instagram crops EVERYTHING. So, I thought I'd put Atlas' Overworld Sprite, Stats and the original trad. stats page here! (As well as his initial trad. design.

Leah from #StardewValley 🥗 I liked her hairstyle from one of the older versions of her sprite, so I drew that instead of her braid.
I've been meaning to do this for a while, so I'm starting a thread where I can post #PixelArt (and other stuff too I guess) I'll start with this one because I finished it today. Being a new pokemon it doesn't have a sprite, so I made this battle entrance type thing
High-Res King Marine sprite, for my mini doom mod: Dinner Blaster Mass-Production Type!
