The movie had some elements of it but was really missing the 60s psychedelic origins of the comics. Like how the Shang Chi movie has nothing to do with 70s kung fu. It’s still one of the more visually interesting MCU movies but Inception already did all of that.

An issue I see a lot with artists is that they draw very flat shots. Everything is at the same depth so it doesn’t have much impact

Even just two characters closer/further away from the camera helps a LOT to be more visually interesting
