Actually, I only have 3 styles. Semi-realistic digital painting style, simple colored anime style and chibi style. But for digital painting style they're split into two categories; human and monster/animal drawing.

classing moth dragons into 'male' or 'female' categories is sort of redundant but there is a visual difference between the ones that do lay eggs/ones that don't. egg-laying dragons are built larger and more muscled. in comparison the ones that fertilise are built for agility

So this is about how I'd like to tackle it. Broad categories: mundane, magical, mounts/companions, humanoids (?), and legendary creatures. Mostly the mounts and humanoids would receive this level of page depth in my very rough plan, and special treatment for the legendaries.
