The next thing I do is shade clothes with a round brush.
Then I reduce the opacity of lineart to 50%, set shading layer to multiply and merge. I turn my flats layer back on to see what this looks like before doing lights.

Titan interior too red, rest cool. Nice values, I played a lot with distance. I explained how to create distance, but not how to emphasise close elements like WHT in top panel or Jean in bottom: I added a multiply bm layer over those elements, multiply makes darker and expressive
@BearHybrid I usually do cell shading, and some soft erasing. Making it a gray tone, either warm or cool depending on the colors underneath and the lighting of a scene. I turn the color layer off so it's just the line art, paint the color in, set it to multiply and lower the opacity.

จริงๆแล้วถ้าไม่ใช่คอมมิชเราแทบจะไม่ลงสีฉากเลยค่ะ😂💦 (กำลังพยายามจะวาดฉากในรูปวาดเล่นให้เยอะกว่านี้อยู่) เพราะงั้นเลยไม่ค่อยมีตัวอย่าง โดยมากเราจะลงสีด้วยโทนที่อยากให้ภาพเป็นค่ะ อย่างอันนี้ก็เป็นสีแดงไล่เฉดต่างๆ จากนั้นก็ค่อยใช้multiply หรือเลเยอร์โหมดอื่นๆ ย้อมสีวัตถุลงไปค่ะ https://t.co/ceEyTWK6d0

got some comments @ my rendering, so:
1. base colors + lines all go in 1 layer group
2. multiply on clipping layer to that layer group, ~60% layer opac
3. glow dodge layer ~36%, fill color, for tone balancing
4. glow dodge, v soft brush ~20% opac, for glows

je voulais essayer de faire un line au pen au mieux du crayon. Je sais pas encore ce que je préfère, j'ai aussi fait deux types de shade, un très flou et un autre très brut, je pense aussi que j'ai un peu mal géré le multiply, genre ça fait pas très ombre
