Walking slowly, feeling the soft earth move, a supple embrace playfully holding my foot a bit too long. We pick wild poppies, quickly returning them to water where they last a day or two in the vase near the window.

Did a scrawl around on the crappy watercolour paper and tried painting in the shapes with the cheap watercolour paint. Still not got a good grasp on how much water to add with the pigment. Trying to remove excess water from the shapes with a tissue sometimes made it worse.
