After watching long enough, I think I finally have opinions on the 3 leading ladies. Towa is, IMO, the most boring. Setsuna is Sesshoumaru-lite, without much to make her compelling. Moroha is the one who is actually interesting, great personality and curious backstory.

My biggest regret with Beyya and Sanjay's comic 'Take to Heart' is the lack of a compelling hook. The rest are fine but the introductory chapters lacks agency. I'm taking some time to add more tension in the first chapters so it'll be more of a page-turner

Just read volume 1 of the Chris Yost Scarlet Spider Series from 2012. I'm enjoying it! Kaine's Journey from villain to hero is very interesting, and Yost makes the supporting cast super compelling and interesting. Also Stegman and Edward's on Art is an instant recommend👍

It’s up to the remaining Avengers to stop Khonshu’s army of mummies and moon priests. Writer Jason Aaron, Artist Javier Garron, Jason Keith: There are some genuinely fun and exciting moments in this arc, but I don’t find overall story compelling. 3/5

Just read Kageki Shoujo: The Curtain Rises and I absolutely loved it! Its about a otaku girl aiming for the top role in a Takarazuka Revue-style troupe - the story is really compelling, love the two main leads, and the art is a great fit. Any theatre fan should check this out!
