Spent practically the last 20 hours trying to sleep off the last 5 1/2 nights of overnight shifts. My ass probably put in about 63 hours in that stretch as it was mostly all 11 or 12 hour shifts. Needless to say....I am WAAAYYY into overtime pay with another week to go.
Last week I had to say goodbye to my dear sweet Biscotti. She had cancer in her mouth and we did all that we could, but her quality of life was rapidly declining, and we didn’t want her to needlessly suffer. Every day I miss her, but I’m glad shes not in pain anymore
