well... I still can't finish the drawing, but let's say I already added some base colors .

when i first started drawing, i would only ever use pastel colors bc that was all i knew and thats what i thought i liked. but overtime i started using more neons, opposite colors on the color wheel, and weird color combinations. lo and behold, my style has drastically improved!

@mausuya I usually just choose whatever colors from the wheel I like, or ones that go with the character I'm drawing, usually always complimentary. With shading, I always think about what color I want to make my light source, and just add that color as I go along!

I'm still happy with this drawing, gonna be posting old art as I make new ones :)
