My WW1 Christmas Truce illustrations from 2017 and 2018.

I switched to ClipStudioPaint here. Started getting into heavier inking; 2017's was sketchier and kinda Bill Watterson influenced. We see a lllllittle more deliberate shape language in 2018's inks.

The sad thing about the Dark Queen redesign is that it was deliberate. The toads are all faithful recreated right down to the specific accents on their character and personality traits. The Dark Queen was downgraded in design and personality.

Thanks for doing this! Besides wanting to take online digital painting classes, I aim to work more deliberately on basics. Signed up for an anatomy drawing class in college to improve on my weak points :)
