i’m pretty basic since my view is kinda animation-influenced
Digital media allows for a background to be done quicker and with layers, allowing for the paintings to be edited on the fly if necessary.
Scenes in the past were boarded to avoid having to require a new painting for every new angle.

Gorgeous world building and aesthetic. Classic Ghibli magic. Made me think about Ghibli women always being portrayed with so many layers, traits and shapes, never limited to certain tropes or roles because they're women. It's refreshing to watch.
