Today I learned that Poison has SSJ3 hair.

Been using these to play around with brushes while limiting the time I spend on them to 2 hours max. A very frustrating mix but surely I'm learning something?

Right?

One thing I do really like about my art is that I love trying so many different styles and textures and brushes, but I feel like regardless of that you can still always tell that it’s my art in some way

THIS
I stopped doing clean lineart a few years ago due to lack of time/patience. I've never loved art more than I do now. I used to dread & hate the whole process.

This is my latest work and it's just a scanned pencil sketch, cleaned slightly, colored in PS with custom brushes💖

Ooh okay.
So I’m guessing not something soft like I do, right? ^^

If not, best advice I have is play around with your settings with the brushes you have to fit.
Or if you know how, make a new brush or find new brushes you can find from the site I like using. ✨

experimenting with procreate brushes! (i like the effect and how it makes the character look more sketchy and traditional, RIP pencils?)

It's that the only paintings we see done by Mel are of her trauma - being exiled by ship from Noxus by her mother, & the Ionian Princess' death. I hope with how she brushed the first in gold paint, Mel can create more beautiful art that won't bring her pain when looking at them.

(Not so) Sketch redeemed on my channel via channel points: /#Spawn.
I tried to ink this one like a true comic (completely aware that I suck at inking.)
I’m not satisfied but at least I found some ink brushes I’m at ease to use for.

learning to use clip studio on my ipad! the brushes are so nice even if the interface is confusing. procreate feels primitive in comparison lol [oc, lambda, they/sea] 🐟
