If I were to count my layers...something like this would take me about...10 layers last time I checked. Maybe 10 is the max but I do have times we’re I only use 3 or 4 layers . Depending on the art photo ofc.

A lot of times when I try to make effects, it just feels like I'm throwing things at layers. When I look back at what I did, I can't see how I did it nor can I recreate it properly.
Here is a digital art of mine when I was obsessed with the oil painting aesthetic, and didn't know anything about the blending tool, or layers.
