Forgot to post this here but here's my entry for the #dtiys_shiyu (Insta) contest uwu @nedonutsu
seeing a lot of his work on my to lately so I wanted to share some of my favorite eva works of yoshiyuki! I love it when he put the characters in casual wear
I haven't done a #SadamotoSaturday in a while, so here's some key art from Renewal of Evangelion in 2003, where Gainax lovingly remastered the original series, which we would eventually get as the "Platinum Edition". #YoshiyukiSadamoto #Evangelion #NeonGenesisEvangelion
I used to study these Evangelion illustrations by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto for hours as a kid—I'd trace them and copy them and furiously hope to one day be good enough to draw like this, and I no longer have the hubris to think that's possible but I still love looking at them

@SurAuvers @bakalov_ptr OK actually a quick Google search shows the lead artist and character designer behind Daraku Tenshi is Toshiyuki Kotani (小谷智之)! He also goes by the pen name "Styleos." He also worked on King of Fighters 99-2001 and 2 beautiful Cave shooters!

Feast your eyes upon this epic mech design by @kill_box83 for @matttrinh's upcoming serialized light novel Cobalt. This series, which will be part of the Wikid Magazine, is inspired by the Mobile Suit Gundam novel by Yoshiyuki Tomino and classic BattleTech.
